Well, I suppose that Florence ( that's where we're going right ?) has more than one Hostel. Actually, I am sure of it. Now Barbara, we do our homework to find an equally attractive and affordable hostel in the near vicinity of the one our fellow travelling companions will be temporarily dwelling in..That is if you are still up for going given the circumstances. Someone had mentioned sleeping in the park, I have a sleepign bag! ( Hey, this guy is a carnivale guy, How fitting!!)

Anyhow, I am up for looking into some alternatives, if we come up empty handed then I suppose we have a multitude of options awaiting us in Lieu of Florence, if you know what I mean!!

So, let me know what your heart is telling you, and we can move on from there..I am sure that no matter what we chose to do, it will be the right and adventurous choice!!

Ok so does anyone still need a roomate for Siena on th 2nd cus I'll do that. I have Italian on Monday so I want to get back to Cortona sunday night. I don't know about Florence though cus it seams like everything is all booked up.

Candace, you and Barbara and I are in the same boat. Perhaps we look eslewhere for a weekend getaway ( I don't remember a field trip planned for that weekend but I could be wrong..) Anyhow, like I said, if we need to devise an alternate outing, I am sure that can be arranged, we only have the entire Italy boot to explore so whatever happens, happens!! I think Barbara and I have Italian on the monday too, so a sunday-nighter is out for moi!!

Opera would be lovely, in regards to that, I have been looking into Hostels in Paris, I can't remember which ones, but one in particular was near an opera house. My sister was in Paris in march and she visited an opera house. I will have to get the info. on that. ( This is all pertanent should we decide to GO to paris, ) I do belive Italy has many a fine opera house to offer as well, and they would be much closer!!

Oh goodie- I thought I would have to go alone. Not to knock me own country but Opera is not big around here with the youth!

I too am nearly done the second paper, of three assignments I have to write for today. Got to school at 8, skipped class ( for paper writing people) stuck my butt on a chair in the old arts computer lab, didn't move until 4:30 when I finished paper 1 of the day. Ate dinner, HUB mall food, not great. Returned to the computers, pounded out a 8 page reading journal due at 6:30. Class starts at 6:30. I sit. I yawn. I leave at break at 8:30 ( class is done at 9:20ish anyway) go home ( to St. ALbert, 35 minute drive with the roads the way they are, ) eat some popcorn, yummy , sit down at the computer and attempt to start and finish a 2500 word research paper due this morning, for which I will have finished before tonight as to e-mail the draft to professor "I'm-a-jerk" so I do not have late penalties. Hard copy delivered tomorrow.... my eyes are so sore they will pop out of my head sooner or later.....

its winter . my grades are slowly spiralling down the closer january is here. it takes me one hour (ONE HOUR ) to get home from school. and i refuse to do any school work.

did I mention that we are sitting at -39 with WC?

I think my grades ARE truly spiralling downhill, the crazy perterbed thing about that is I really can't seem to care. One more weekish of class, then finals, of which I will already have done two next monday night, wednesday, leaving two more, one of those being a creative porject. So, really, once I complete and hand in all my bloody assignments, the finals will be a cake walk ( in terms of the amount of preperation I will or will not put into them )

So, I hear you MariaPaula, we two are on the same downward spiral. Oooh, does that mean we qualify for a downward spiral club??

HOW CAN OUR PROFESSORS EXPECT US TO HAVE ANY MOTIVATION OR WILL TO LEARN AT ALL!! ITALY BABY!!!

I guess I'll just have to think about my lack of estuteness in Cortona, OR NOT!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!! ( we're only this age once kids, lets just do it the fun way for once and not worry about our scholarly lives as much, at least, that's my plan!!) That could be disasterous, yet so fun!!
