When in Rome

Ok, I am going to go ahead and book a room for both outtings and just hope that someone will take the other half of it, let me know! I don`t want to risk it getting booked up, and I`m sure SOMEONE else will want to come. Maybe some of those crazy kids who aren`t on this forum (could you imagine?!) will want to travel too

I Have been gone all night, only to return to mad hostel bookings and trip plannings, and I am still laughing over Mike's giant lemons comment
I would be up for being an extra roomy for someone who has the need for an extra body those weekends or whatever weekend they need. I think that the more Itlay based trips I do during the program will save me money and I would love to see as much of Italy as I can anyway. I have to look at my schedule to see which field trips correspond with extended weekend vacations but I am up for going to those places regardless of whether or not I am there already for school.
So count me in, I will be a roomy, anytime!! Stephy, that I suppose will help you out if you are still looking for a roommate. Let me know the situation.

(p.s. Sarah Slean concert tonight was to die for, never have I Heard such a crystalline and angelic voice come forth so effortlessly from a human being!! This wasn't even my first concert of hers either!! Once you hear her, you'll understand.)

Good choices Marissa, I looked at the sites for the two hostels you scouted and booked and they both look perfect, especially Le Fonti di Pescaia, it looks beautiful!! The ratings were awesome too, cheers to you!!

Stephy, like I said, I will take you up on the extra space in those rooms if you are still in need of someone. Let me know if the spot is filled already and I can always book for myself. I am sure there will be others looking for rooms too, the list will be endless I am sure!

Ok, back to paper writing, one more week of hell and then I can daydream and plan until I can't take it anymore, although I don't see that point ever coming!!

I read that even if you book double occupancy that you can request a 3rd bed when you arrive. I dont want to book if anyone else has room

Barbara, Stephy S had mentioned that she was going to just book both weekends and hope that someone would join her. I told her that I would be up for splitting the room but she hasn't got back to me yet, if she has already booked a room, why don't the three of us just cram into it?? If like you said we can request a third bed, then we should be able to make that work.

As soon as Stephy gets back to me I suppose we can figure out the details, I myself have not been booked nor have I booked anything yet, my options are still open.

We are going to Villa Adriana in Tivoli. I posted a website with some information earlier on. I'll post it again.

Barbara and Nikki - We can for sure split the Florence room between us if you like, I will contact the hostel and make sure that it will be ok.

Thanks Stephy , Nikki. You know, the 19 of Jan is my Birthday and I have ALWAYS said I want to see Florence. Its just too good to be true!

I talked to Stephy and she was planning on staying for three nights and you and I can only stay for two so I think that it would be better if you and I just booked a room together. But it will still be fun as we will all three still be in the same place.

That just makes sense that you and I would room together, I am totally up for that. Do you have Italian on the monday morning?? I do, perhaps we are in the same class ( assuming there is more than one, which there might not be. )

I think Stephy already booked for both weekends and is now just looking at filling a space in her room ( I could be TOTALLY wrong though ) Barbara and I were going to room with her but we are only staying Friday/saturday because we have class monday. So we decided to actually split up again to leave that extra bed for a sunday-nighter. I am not sure though if Barbara and I have a room though so let me know how the bookings go, if theres still space available etc.

I know Stephy will answer this too, I just though I would give you the information I know!!

Yeah, I have the room booked for the three nights by my lonesome. So if there is any one - or even two - people who want to stay with me then that`d be good. OR if there are any two people who are staying until monday who wouldnt mind me joining you then I can cancel my reservation.

hehe, I know, it`s a very small hostel! Sounds good then, I will request another bed then once we know whether Elise is staying until monday or not. And yes, I posted on the "milan" forum that we`d better get a move on or else we will be SOL for a place to stay!
