Flights!

so just wondering when everyone is leaving edmonton and arriving in Rome. I am booking my flight this weekend.

I'm leaving Edmtonton Jan 2 @ 3pm, go to calgary, then Frankfurt, then Rome Jan 3 @ 5:25 pm.

I am leaving Edmonton on the 6th at 1:20pm to Toronto, then from there to Rome, arriving on the 7th at 11:00am (Rome time). Flights are all booking up - and getting more expensive - really fast, so If you haven`t yet then I would get on it ASAP. Is anyone else on this flight? I`m a bit concerned about getting from the airport to the Hostel (I think I`m going to go to the Alessandro by the termini station as a few other people said they were too, and its rated fairly well). I'm leaving edmonton on the 3rd stopping overnight in coopenhagen on the 4th and arriving in Rome on the morning of th 5th.

Hey everyone,
I finally booked my flight today and i am so exicted so I am leaving edmonton Jan 4th at 8am for Miniapolis and also a stop in Amsterdam before I arrive in Rome Jan 5th at 12:25pm. Overall not too bad there are two of us on this flight already.

Is anyone else coming into Rome by train or any other non-airplane method?

I booked my main flights yesterday, right before I came to the orientation. Smile

I just booked hostels and some other stuff now.

I leave Edmonton on the 3rd, pass through Calgary and then on to London, arriving on the 4th. From there I'm flying to Zurich, Switzerland and overnighting there. Then I'm taking a series of trains through the Alps and eventually to Milan. The next day (the 6th) I'll arrive in Rome via train. I'm booked at the Alessandro Palace Hostel for the 6th and 7th.

Some of the trains along the way don't take reservations so that's got me a little nervous but I guess it just heightens the excitement.
