| It depends how far away it is I guess, and when everyone else wants to go. Thus far I only have a couple weekends left that I haven`t planned trips for already at the end of febuary so I`ll have to weigh out all my options! | |

| I also seriously want to go to Cinque Terre, even if it is out of the way. I have heard now from many people how amazing it is there - and as an east-coaster at heart I love the idea of small fishing villages ! I don`t know if it is more than a one day trip though, so perhaps we could spend time there and then go somewhere else for a bit that is on the way back. My open weekends now are february 23rd (fri-mon) and March 2 (fri-mon), I`m going to be wise and stay put for the March 9 weekend as we have our finals the week after...ick | |

| Hey Stephy, I'm also v.interested in going to Cinque Terre, but I was thinking of doing that after school, probably between March 18-20ish. I was thinking of going there and then to Pisa. Are you going to be around after classes? | |

| Hey guys, I'm probably going to Cinque Terre, Pisa and Genova the last weekend (Mar 9-12) if anyone's interested. I thought it would be better to go later in the term so it'll be warmer out . | |

| Hailey that sounds perfect, I am definatly interested in that trip; HOWEVER, do you think we should do it the weekend before that, as we have all of our term papers and exams the following week? | |

| I have my return to Canada flight on the 18th of March but I think I`m going to see if it is possible to extend it until the 20th-ish and maybe we could go to Positano right after term ends? I want to walk around in the sun wearing a white dress and high heels and feel as glamourous as "Under the Tuscan Sun" makes Italian life look, hehe | |

| Well I have a field trip in Rome for the friday the second last weekend, and I definitely want a full weekend to go to Cinque Terre since I also want to see Pisa and Genova. So, this weekend works the best for me. I'm going to bust my butt during the weeks and make sure I get everything done so I don't have to do any homework on the weekends. | |

| Ya that weekend works for me. Hailey, I was planning on doing a sort of west coast tour thing from Genoa to Pisa so that works for me. I was planning to stay in La Spezia, you can stay in that city and get a cinque terre ticket that allows you to take the train from La Spezia to Cinque terre. Because there is not much accomodation in the villages. But ya count me in. | |

| As Elise and I had discussed, we would like to see Positano if "posi"ble ( ha ha ha) if that doesn't happen, and we do the Hailey thing ( west coast Genova, Pisa ( I WANT to go to Pisa), then that would be cool too.
I am more than in for whatever time works. I want to draw up some schedule when most of us meet thursday so we can figure out which weekends we're devoting to what places so on and so forth. ( Because even if you are all aware of what's going on, I have no freakin' idea!) So really, I'm doing the calendars so I won't be confused anymore.
I am starving, at my boyfriends house ( that he's been gone from for a month until last night ) so there's NO food, Pizza 73 is not open until 4 and I am suddenly hit with an overwhelming cracing for curry, mmmmm curry.
Oh.....oh, no, I'll ask my next question on the proper category... | |

| Yes this will work for me too, I`ll just pull a couple all-nighters during the week to get my papers done, hehe. I did look into hostels in Cinque Terre, there are very few and they are small so we should book ASAP if we want to spend the night there. I really have no clue what the layout of Italian cities is, so wherever the route takes us is fine by me! Nikki, I am an organization freak so have all the trips written in my calender - the "fieldtrips" handout works very well as a flowchart to add onto for immediate purposes. I am beginning to realize that two and a half months is NOT a very long time though And nine weekends get booked up very fast, I think I may only have ONE open now! | |

| Hey everyone, The temporary plan I had in my mind was staying in Pisa on friday night (and also possibly thursday night depending on how it all works), then travel to cinque terre saturday morning (it's only ~ an hour away) spend that day walking the #1 trail (takes 5 hours, plus the time spent in the villages), then travelling to Genova (~ 1 hour away) and spending saturday night there. See Genova the sunday, and possibly monday if I decide to drop ITAL 112. Any input/suggestions? Hailey | |
